Taurine is a naturally occurring amino sulfonic acid — one of the most abundant amino acids in the human body, concentrated especially in the muscles, eyes, brain, heart, and blood cells. Unlike standard amino acids, taurine is non-proteinogenic (it isn't used to build proteins); instead it works structurally and functionally at the cellular level, particularly within the mitochondria — the cell's energy-producing "power plants" — and in cell membranes, where it helps regulate ion balance and osmotic stability.

TaurinoMit® delivers 500 mg of highly pure taurine per capsule, produced by mse MitoMed® in Germany to pharmaceutical-grade manufacturing standards. Each daily dose of 2 capsules provides 1,000 mg of taurine.
