Fisetin Pro Longevity features the naturally sourced flavonoid compound fisetin—a small, plant-based molecule with potent antioxidant activity that targets multiple aspects of aging, especially in the brain.
The first record of fisetin dates back to 1833, when it was isolated from the Venetian sumach plant. Now, we know that fisetin is found in many fruits and vegetables—especially strawberries, apples, grapes, and persimmons. However, food-based fisetin only occurs in small concentrations; therefore, supplemental fisetin is key for reaping the full benefits of this flavonoid.
Perhaps the most promising aspect of fisetin is its biological activity as a senolytic—a compound that kills off senescent cells.
