ActiveCells Astaxanthin delivers 8mg of natural astaxanthin per capsule, sourced from the freshwater microalgae Haematococcus pluvialis and suspended in organic virgin olive oil, packaged in a recyclable glass bottle. Unlike most antioxidant supplements, this astaxanthin is cultivated in a closed, glass-tube photobioreactor system fed by a private, pristine water source, and is free from solvents, microcystins, and heavy metals — a meaningfully different production standard than the synthetic, oil-derivative astaxanthin found in many conventional products.
